Sold out 100 squares at $30 each, and we raised $3,000.  There were 17 winners from the board game result.  Also there were many ad-hoc winners after “guessing” the correct trivial answers prepared by Past President Dick Binau.

Past President Dick Binau did a fantastic job running the result show again.  This year his helpers are IT guru PE Scott Lang and PP Tom Hoffman.  Special Thank You to PP Dick, who also donated a special framed OSU picture for auction, and the winner was Rotarian Laurie.

Also the Club would like to extend its “Thank You” to the generosity of fellow Rotarians who bought extra squares.

Brief History:
The University of Ohio State (OSU) vs University of Michigan (UM) Lotto is an annual Fund raising and FUN event.  It is being held at our Club’s Monday lunch meeting immediately after the weekend of the college football game between OSU and UM.  This event has been in place for many years - this is one of those "grandfather" projects that started by former Rotarian Dr. John Zimmerman.

Each Fremont Rotarian is committed One (1) square, and the rest are open for any interested members.  Each year 50% goes to the Winner Payout System and 50% goes directly into the Club.  *Effective Rotary year 2016-17, the 50% fund is designated towards "Centennial Fund".
