Rotarian Angie Morelock, our Club’s Rotary 4WT Speech Contest Chair accompanied our Club representative Austin Dix to the District level contest this past Saturday, April 14 and shared the following announcement … VTC student Austin Dix represented the Fremont Rotary Club today at the District 6600 Four Way Speech Contest and won FIRST place with his speech about how your voice can give you super powers! Congratulations!

Congratulations to the District 6600 4-Way Speech Contest winners!! The 1st place winner is Austin Dix from the Fremont Rotary, the 2nd place winner is Anna Little from the Norwalk Rotary, and the 3rd place winner is Alex Petroff from the North Coast Rotary! Their speeches were truly amazing!! And, congratulations to everyone who participated!! They were ALL winners!! 26 Clubs in our District participated!! What a GREAT turnout!
A big shout out to Coach Steve Hosler for chairing the contest!! A HUGE thank you to our wonderful judges, the Van Wert Rotary, Paul Hoverman, and the Niswonger Performing Arts Center!! AMAZING!
Winners are invited to the District Conference on Saturday, May 19th. The three winners received cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200 respectively.
