The Rotary Club of Fremont recently celebrated its 89th anniversary. As part of the celebration the Club provided donations to three local organizations. A check in the amount of $1560 was presented to the Sandusky County Board of Developmental Disabilities to cover the cost of summer camperships at Camp Echoing Hills for two individuals. The Club has been funding camperships for individuals with disabilities since 2009. The Fremont Parks and Recreation Department received $500 to sponsor the girls and boys summer Tee Ball League. The Club has been sponsoring a team since 2011. The Liberty Center of Sandusky County received $225 as part of their “Sponsor A Day Program,” with the Club funding the cost of running the Center on April 28, the date of the Club’s anniversary.
