The final group meeting was held via Zoom on April 21, with 15 participants, including 4 students, 3 Rotarian mentors, 5 Rotary STRIVE Committee members, a Rotary Scholarship Committee member, and the Fremont Ross HS Interventionist and the Grade 12 Guidance Counselor.
The program topic was “Awards and Recognition,” with students, mentors, and others involved in the program receiving recognition.
Goody bags including graduation banners and Coco Beans candy were delivered to students at their homes prior to the group meeting.
This year’s STRIVE scholarship winners were announced at the meeting, and they are:
$1,250 Keimari Jones/mentor Rotarian Brenda Peiffer
$1,000 Kendra Smith/mentor Past President Kay Reiter
$750 Avery Smith/mentor Rotarian Angie Morelock
