I wanted to reach out to everyone and give everyone a quick update on club matters for the next month.
We had a Club Board meeting on Tuesday night. In all honesty, I wasn't overly excited about having the meeting when we first began, but by the end, I was enlightened and motivated by the other members and their ideas and willingness to want to help in the community.
We are brainstorming ways to help in the community, please send ideas to me if you have any!
We are planning on having two Rotary Meetings this month. One on April 13th (at noon) and one on April 27th (at 5pm with a drink of choice in our hand), both via Zoom. Hopefully we will have great attendance with everyone getting to call in remotely.
This pandemic is going to hurt our community in many ways. Hopefully we are limiting the health related impact with all of our social distancing, but the financial impact on the economy and community is going to be devastating if life cannot get back to some semblance of normalcy by the end of this month. Please continue to make plans for yourself, your families, employees, and community to keep everyone physically and financially safe. As a father, husband, business owner, and community leader I will do my best to help in any way that I can.
