Continuing the tradition, the Fremont Rotary Club, with the assistance of the Hayes Presidential Center, sponsored the annual Easter Egg Hunt for the School of Hope on Tuesday, April 7. The venue this year was changed to the School of Hope’s gymnasium, which was quite suitable due to inclement weather.

A large group of School of Hope preschoolers, along with some of its older children, enjoyed collecting plastic eggs, opening gifts, and playing together.  The Easter Bunny attended and the event was well received.  Rotary volunteers supervised and made friends with the children as they gathered eggs and played with their new toys.  To those who have not volunteered in the past, this (approximately) one hour out of your year can be a very heart-warming and enjoyable experience.

Rotary would like to thank the Hayes Presidential Center for their participation, and also the following Rotarian volunteers for making this once again a very special event:
Kellie Sears
Laurie Sistrunk
PP Charlotte Urban
Tim & Kim Ellenberger
Dan Waggoner
PP Ralph Oxley
Doug Beck
Tom Hoffman
PP Ken Berlekamp and
Christie Weininger.
