The Four Way Test Essay is a project for students in grades 7-8 to bring the Rotary Four Way Test to life in a 1,500 word essay.  The winner of Fremont Rotary Club essay contest moves on to represent our club at a District 6600 wide competition.  Winners receive cash prizes.

Topic of the essay: Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” and what it means to the conduct of my daily life.

The Four-Way Test: 

1. Is it TRUTH? 

2. Is it FAIR to ALL concerned? 

3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 

4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? 

Purpose of the essay: A written essay that explains the student’s personal understanding of the “Four-Way Test” and how it relates to his/her life experiences and/or society. How does it influence what they say, think and do?
